Product Details
Countless admirers will be wondering how you
made the amazing Crocheted Goshen Jacket by Doris Chan, from our Designer in
Residence series. Inspired by a fortune cookie, this jacket is composed
of thirty-three lacy square motifs assembled into what is essentially a
V-shaped wrap, except folded at the shoulders and connected along the
sides using a join-as-you-go technique. Rib-textured cuffs and band give the
jacket wearable comfort. Soft, lustrous Valley Yarns Goshen is perfect for a
season-spanning layer. And if you don’t feel like messing with this jacket
construction, you can use the motif to make your own design, leaving the
V-shape wrap unconnected, or create a simple rectangular stole. The lace patterns are in written form only.
