Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 10/2 is a great staple for your weaving projects. The Valley Yarns line of mercerized perle cottons in 3/2, 5/2, and 10/2 is put up on standard one pound cones for weavers and machine knitters. The Valley Cotton line features 50+ sumptuous colors dyed for color fastness, but of course, be sure to test your sample the way you want to finish your fabric. Spun and dyed exclusively for WEBS.
Note: We recommend laying flat to dry for items with fringe.
Color Cards and Color Books for this yarn are available.
This yarn is sold in whole cones (or tubes). Wind-offs are not available for this yarn.
Some cones may be labeled with incorrect laundry care instructions. Correct care is machine wash gentle, tumble dry low.

Perle cottons are usable, though not as smooth and attractive as UKI. Of course, they are not as expensive either so you do get what you pay for in this instance. I believe the perle cotton line is made in Brazil.
Its my go-to cotton for towels etc.
Have used 10/2 numerous times, the light weight is versatile and perfect for warm California blankets and shawls. It feels like a warm hug, getting softer with use.
I used this yarn on a rigid heddle loom with 2 12.5-dent heddles for Atwood -Bronson lace. It turned out very favorable

Good color selection, nice quality yarn, good twist.
Beautiful colors, smooth yarn, strong fibers. I have found this most useful to knit 5 strands together, achieving beautiful worsted weight.
