Valley Yarns Granville was simply a pleasure to knit with, and the pullover sweater I made turned out beautifully. After being washed in cold water, then dryer dried on delicates, the sweater came out wrinkle free with no shrinkage. Cotton yarn usually hurts my hands, so seldom knit with it; however, Granville's 90% Pima Cotton/10% wool didn't bother my hands at all. I ordered more for another sweater to knit this coming winter. I can enthusiatically recommend it.
Lovely yarn - blend of cotton with 10%wool is soft and drapes beautifully. Great to work with.
I am knitting a baby jacket with this and it is simply beautiful. Care must be taken to avoid the plies from splitting when knitting but it is wonderfully soft to go against baby skin.
Amazingly soft yarn. It tends to split a little when knitting so care must be taken to avoid this. In spite of that, I would definitely buy it again.
Lovely yarn
I've used this yarn before. It's soft & the colors are beautiful. As with lots of cotton yarns, it can be splitty, but I don't mind!
Love this yarn. I wish it came in more colors. It is very soft with a lot of drape, and I have used it for two very different baby blankets. The natural color is particularly glorious.
It's more of a DK than sport weight; even the pattern, Canyonlands, which specifies this yarn, gives the gauge at 5.5 stitches per inch. The yarn has a soft feel and a bit of shine, which I like. It's a little splitty but not too bad. On my screen, the coral color looks more orange, but the yarn is a true coral color.
A nice combination of cotton and wool. Easy to work with. Very nice stitch definition. The yarn is budget friendly and great quality for the price. I purchased two more sweater quantities worth.
The yarn is soft and light - I'm making a summer top and I know it's going to feel just right for a southern US climate.
