Note: We recommend laying flat to dry for items with fringe.

I used this yarn for waffle weave towels and the results were lovely – they have a good hand and promise to be absorbent. The yarn made a strong warp and was generally easy to work with. The colors are perfect for my needs. I plan to make several more after the holidays.
I love the Valley 8/2 cotton yarn. It's easy to weave. No sticking. There is a lot of shrinkage though. I'd say about 20% shrinkage. Just allow for it. Great colors to choose from too. Shipping was fast.
Valley yarns are the best and my go to weaving cotton. Great colors!!
Very soft. I am warping a towel with it now. Is behaving as expected. I bought only one cone of each color. I decided to do plain weave with 3 gray threads for every 1 red. I wound separate balls for the two extra gray and pulled from the outside to warp. I will try one of two things differently. Wind the extra balls onto something stable or just buy more cones. The trouble I have is that the balls started to come apart near the end and made a mess
