Universal Yarn Bamboo Bloom Handpaints is a fun thick-to-thin yarn that incorporates variegated textures and colors as you work. The thin strands of bamboo rayon give this yarn a touch of shine giving your projects a unique and personalized look.
Hand-dyed yarns have subtle variations in colors that are natural and may vary from skein to skein. There may be differences between pictures shown and the yarn you receive. To ensure the best results for your project:
- Buy enough yarn for your entire project at one time.
- When using hand-dyed yarn in your project work two rows from one skein and two rows from another skein to give an overall blended effect.

I've been having such fun knitting with the Bamboo Bloom yarn. It knits up in such a colorful way. The only draw-back ....which is due to the pattern I'm using .... is that there are short 3 stitch area where the thicker part of the yarn is simply woven over a 3 st area. The yarn is spun only a bit so I am a little concerned it may get pulled apart. But it is beautiful. Perhaps hand spinning that short length of thicker yarn before knitting it would solve that problem....wish I'd thought of that sooner.
I am in love with this yarn and plan to use various colors in different projects.
Beautiful, soft and gorgeous colors ! I love knitting the thin that turns into bulky. I made a simple cowl on circular needles and now knitting matching handwarmers ! Very good yarn for new knitters that just want to knit without any challenging pattern.
Beautiful but hard to figure out gauge
Great yarn especially for a new knitter who is learning to knit. You knit the thin parts and perl to thick parts and it’s a lovely scary or cowl !
